Website visits and preferences

This marketing website displays static product illustrations with synthetic content. It does not load advertising or analytics scripts. Its JavaScript stores your light or dark appearance preference in your browser. The pricing page requests public campaign availability from the OpenBrain application without account credentials; it does not send your notes or payment details.

Delivering and protecting the website involves technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, date, browser and security diagnostics. Cloudflare provides public delivery and routing. Google Fonts serves the fonts, so loading a page creates requests to Google’s font servers. We use this technical processing to deliver the requested pages and protect service reliability.

Accounts and workspace content

The application processes your account email, profile and authentication information, your saved notes, sources, collections, projects, tasks and uploaded files, and activity needed to operate the workspace. Account access and sessions are used to authenticate you and restrict access to your account. Content is processed to provide the features you request, including storage, search, export and connected integrations.

When enabled, AI processing sends the relevant source, question or context to the configured provider, currently OpenAI, to generate embeddings and responses. Authorized agents and integrations access the scopes you grant them. Their own providers and terms may apply. Do not authorize an integration unless you want it to access the permitted records.

Payments through Stripe

Stripe provides hosted Checkout. We send the purchase details to Stripe. You may pay before creating an OpenBrain account. Stripe collects the email you enter at Checkout; use that same email when you sign in or create your account to activate the purchase. Stripe collects payment method, billing and fraud-prevention information directly. OpenBrain stores Stripe customer, Checkout and transaction references, payment status, original price, currency, receipt link, purchase and paid-through dates, and refund or dispute state to preserve and fulfill the purchase, verify account activation, provide support and keep payment records. Before activation, the purchase is associated with its Checkout email and confirmation session. Keep your confirmation tab open while activating; contact support if you lose it. OpenBrain does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Stripe acts as a processor for some merchant payment activities and as an independent controller for activities such as regulatory compliance and fraud prevention. Its role depends on the processing. See Stripe’s privacy policy. Stripe and other providers may process information outside your country, including the United States, under their applicable transfer arrangements.

Why we process information

We process account, workspace and purchase information to provide the requested service and perform our contract with you; technical and security information to operate and protect the service; and records required by applicable accounting, payment, tax or legal obligations. Where applicable privacy law requires consent for an optional integration or feature, you can decline or withdraw that consent. Mandatory rights under applicable privacy law remain available.

Retention and deletion

Workspace information is retained to provide your account and requested service. A pass expiring does not automatically delete your knowledge. Contact us to request export or deletion. Payment and support records may need to be retained for applicable accounting, dispute and legal requirements even after account deletion; information is restricted to those purposes. Technical records are retained only for operational, security and legal needs. Provider retention, including Stripe’s payment records, is governed by the applicable provider terms and legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email us using the contact above so we can verify and handle your request. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority. We do not sell your workspace content or use it for advertising profiles.
